We work with nonprofit organizations to help them further their missions with digital strategies, sites, and campaigns.
We design, build and update digital presences with responsive sites like the one we put together for Dances for a Variable Population, and the Third Street Music Schools Preschool.
We create new initiatives that bridge the space between digital and real world, like the award-winning audio-tour project SoundAboutPhilly which we created with the GPTMC or the dynamic site and printable poster Secure Indian Point which we made for Riverkeeper.
We think about the strategy behind projects in helping Choices In Childbirth expand their network alliances with some distributed widgets, and working with BRIC on their digital video strategy and new site.
We work with organizations like the National Yiddish Theatre on digital campaigns to promote new projects.
We also do a kind of “tech therapy” helping an organization look at their existing sites and practices and seeing if we can pragmatically improve them. A fresh look at emails from lists, to design, and edit, making better use of Facebook and its advertising capabilities and giving a site a refresh and more capabilities with the tweak of a theme or the addition of some plugins.
For the past five years, we’ve built and managed the site and communications infrastructure for PS321 a leading public elementary school in Brooklyn. The site serves a community of over 1,000 families and handles donations and transactions of over a million dollars a year. It’s also been a bit of a lab where we’ve been able to improve systems that can support being updated by multiple people with varying technical capabilities and time. In a way, this reflects the landscape of many nonprofits so we’ve learned what works and doesn’t work and are happy to pass it on to our clients.
